Government as an Institution of the State

As defined here, government is an institution of the State. Government has been defined as a body of persons and institutions that make, enforces and adjudicates laws for a particular State or Society. Also government operates through a number of institutions. It is through these institutions that people are organised politically. These include the legislature, the executive, judiciary, village councils, town councils, municipal councils, Local governments, State governments as well as Regional or Federal governments.
