“They hated me without a cause” Jn.15:25.
No other man has lived on this earth who has been so unanimously and so bitterly hated as Jesus Christ. Jn.15:25.
HATRED OF MEN IN HIS OWN DAY
a. When He was incarnated and was physically present here on earth, He was hated by all classes of people.
b. The hatred of Jesus Christ was a bitter as it was universal.
c. This hatred of Jesus Christ was without a cause.
HATRED OF THE PEOPLE OF THIS GENERATION
a. In this generation people show their hatred about in the way they jubilate if a Christ happens to fall.
b. They demonstrate the hatred towards Him the way they magnifying the inconsistence of Christians.
c. This generation shows their hatred to Christ the way they persecute Christians.
d. They continue their hatred to Him the way the try to disprove the message of the Gospels.
e. The present generation hates Jesus bitterly in the manner they deprive Him of His Glory and Honour.
f. It is vividly clear that a lot of people of this generation show their hatred to Jesus in the way they do not want Christ or His representative to rule over them. Lk.19:14.
Conclusion: It is a fact that He demands our total surrendering but that is not the reason we should hate. It is when we surrender all our sins to the alter of His sacrifice that we can receive and accommodate all His blessings.
