Browning and Methods of making Cakes
– Browning
1. Half cup of sugar
2. Two cups of water
3. Butter
Procedure
a. Dissolve sugar in the water
b. Boil on a low heat until it turns golden black
c. Reduce the heat and add water
d. Stir to dissolve
e. Allow it to cool
f. Then add it to your butter
Methods of Making Cakes
There are four main methods of making cakes. They are:
i. Creaming Method
ii. Whisking Method
iii. Melting Method
iv. Rubbing Method
