1. Line two greased sandwich tins with a greased paper.
2. Prepare the mixture by creaming method
3. Bake at 190 degrees C, for approx. 30 – 45 minutes
4. Turn out and cool on rack or tray
5. Spread jams on one round and place the other cake on top
6. Sprinkle with sugar
Note: Butter icing may be used instead of jams.
