How to Make Yam Balls

Required Items

a. Cooked yams – 2 slices or more
b. Eggs – 3
c. Tomatoes – 1 to be chopped
d. Pepper – 1 to be chopped
e. Onions – Desired (chopped)
f. Cooked fish – 1
g. Flour – for coating
h. Vegetable oil – for frying
i. Salt – to add taste
j. Frying pan

Procedure

1. Mash the yam with masher or wooden spoon to make a rough dough.
2. Add the fish, chopped tomatoes, pepper and onions, then mix properly
3. Beat the two eggs and mix with the yam
4. Season with salt to your desired taste
5. Shape into balls using flour.
6. Deepen it into the remaining beaten egg to coat the back
7. Pour the vegetable oil into the frying pan and put on fire (allow it to steam)
8. Drop the bolus of yams into the oil and fry into golden brown colour
9. Serve
