If you don’t destroy sin, sin will destroy you!

But how can you destroy sin?

“All unrighteousness is sin” (1st John 5:17).

Sin defiles and brings sorrows and pains to a man’s life (Psalm 38:1-8).

It causes God’s rejection and reproach to a man and even a nation (Proverbs 14:34).

Sin destroys and ultimately sin kills. “But every man shall die for his own iniquity” (Jeremiah 31:30); “For the wages of sin is death”  (Romans 6:23).

“For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Therefore:

> Acknowledge that you are a sinner (1st John 1:8).
> Confess all your sins to God and believe His promise to forgive (1st John 1:9).
> Pray a penitent prayer like the publican, “God be merciful to me a sinner” (Luke 18:13).
> Believe Him Who said; “Him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast him out” (John 6:37).
> Receive the gift of salvation by faith through the Blood of Jesus Christ (Acts 16:31).
> The joy of salvation will enter your heart and you will have victory over sin.

Will you wait till sin kills you?

Remember, “Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2nd Corinthians 6:2).
