{INT. EMERGENCY UNIT, GENERAL HOSPITAL, IKEJA, LAGOS, NIGERIA – NIGHT}

DOCTOR ADEBAYO and TWO FEMALE NURSES are standing before a glass window to the room where Leela is lying on a bed.

NURSE ONE
Sir, why are we keeping a dead body here?

NURSE TWO
We need to transfer him to the cold room before his condition change this atmosphere.

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
He’s alive.

NURSE ONE
I checked him with the stethoscope and discovered that he’s dead.

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
No, the test I conducted on him showed that his cells are changing.
(his phone rings and he picks it)
Yes?

FEMALE VOICE (V.O)
(over the telephone)
Sir, the soldier is here.

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
Tell him to wait in my office.
(offs the phone call)

NURSE ONE
Are you expecting someone?

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
Yeah, when I discovered this mysterious occurrence, I quickly seek the attention of the military.

NURSE TWO
(a surprised look comes over her face)
Why?

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
His new cells match nothing I have ever seen before. I tried to end his life by trying to inject poison into him but the needles couldn’t penetrate his body. If he suddenly lives, which I’m certain he would, we’ll need something stronger to trap him down.

NURSE ONE
Why not bury his body under the sea?

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
No, we can’t afford to contaminate our natural waters and besides, the government is looking up to us for the result of his death. Now
(suspires)
he’s alive.

{DOCTOR’S OFFICE}

CAPTAIN OBONG, a soldier of the Nigerian Army is sitting before Doctor Adebayo.

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
He’s lying in the examination room…
(suddenly keeps quiet)
I don’t know, Captain, I think it’ll be best to invite the General to come in person before we proceed. I’d prefer to talk to the General himself.

CAPTAIN OBONG
Major General Mustapha assigned me to supervise this case with you. Whatever you have to tell the government, I am the government, Doctor Adebayo.

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
All right.
(stands)
Come with me.

{EMERGENCY UNIT}

Doctor Adebayo and Captain Obong are standing before the room where Leela is lying on a bed.

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
No needle could penetrate his body.

CAPTAIN OBONG
Are you sure he’s alive?
(a computer attached to the body of Leela beeps)

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
O my God!

CAPTAIN OBONG
What is it, Doctor?

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
Seems like he was exposed to solar radiation.

CAPTAIN OBONG
He died in the colds, inside an ice cave in Antarctica. Solar radiation is almost impossible in that zone.

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
No, I mean, no I wanted to say he’s awake.

CAPTAIN OBONG
(Leela suddenly opens his eyes and sits)
He’s awake?

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
(moves two steps backwards)
Jesus!

CAPTAIN OBONG
Hey, I’m standing here with you.

Leela sits and looks at Doctor Adebayo and Captain Obong. While Doctor Adebayo and Captain Obong are looking at Leela with a surprised look on their faces.

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
That’s impossible.

CAPTAIN OBONG
He looks pretty fine. This is a miracle.

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
He doesn’t look dangerous.

CAPTAIN OBONG
(nods)
Get me inside.

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
What?

CAPTAIN OBONG
You heard me, get me inside.

{EXT. JUPITER – DAY}

A reddish glowing light is gradually expanding in the atmosphere.

FEMALE VOICE
(out of the glowing light)
The destroyer is born on earth! I will destroy the earth and its inhabitants!

{INT. EXAMINATION ROOM, EMERGENCY UNIT, GENERAL HOSPITAL, IKEJA, LAGOS, NIGERIA – NIGHT}

Captain Obong and Doctor Adebayo open the door and enter inside.

LEELA
What happened and how did I get here?

CAPTAIN OBONG
Okay, kid, just relax.

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
You died yesterday.

LEELA
(looks around)
Does that mean I made it to heaven? Whoa! A Nigerian soldier in his uniform here in heaven. That’s amazing.

CAPTAIN OBONG
If this were how heaven looked like, nobody would want to go there. You’re in a Nigerian hospital.

LEELA
(to Doctor Adebayo)
Where in heaven has that name? A place for Nigerians?

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
(carries a device)
Hey, relax let me check something.
(touches the head of Leela with one side of the device in his hand and some data appear on the screen of the device)
What?

CAPTAIN OBONG
What is it?

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
(to Leela)
This equipment says you’re dead.

LEELA
I feel good. Maybe your device is malfunctioning.

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
(to Captain Obong)
Let me talk to you outside.

{EMERGENCY UNIT}

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
Take him out of here, we have a lot of patients here.

CAPTAIN OBONG
What did you see on your computer?

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
His heart is not making any pulse.

CAPTAIN OBONG
Come on, Doc, he’s alive.

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
His body is as strong as steel and his cells are rapidly changing every mini-second.

CAPTAIN OBONG
Christ!

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
He seems to be unaware of what’s going on in him.

CAPTAIN OBONG
What if it’s a sickness?

DOCTOR ADEBAYO
I swear this is no sickness. That’s no human in there.

CAPTAIN OBONG
All right. I’ll take him with me.
