{EXT. MILITARY PREMISES – NIGHT}

Leela is tied to a stick. FIVE SOLDIERS stand at twenty-meters away from Leela. Captain Obong covers his face.

MAJOR EVANS
Fire!

The Soldiers shoot their guns steadily at Leela. The bullets hit Leela and fall on the ground without hurting him.

Suddenly, Major Evans throws a dynamite against Leela. The dynamite explodes and destroys the stick Leela was tied to but could not hurt Leela.

LATER

{DAY}

Leela is pushed into a boiling water.

After a while, TWO SOLDIERS carry Leela out of the hot water by dragging a rope tied to his waist.

CAPTAIN OBONG
(smiles)
He seems pretty fine.

LATER

Four heavy military tanks are driven over Leela but he is not harmed.

MAJOR EVANS
(to Captain Obong)
He’s indestructible. Just as the Doctor said. We could have killed him earlier.

CAPTAIN OBONG
Sorry, sir, with all due respect, sir, we can’t go back to the past right now. We have to deal with what’s at hand.

MAJOR EVANS
I don’t know what to do or what to tell the Major General.

CAPTAIN OBONG
Since we have footages of this mystery, there’s nothing to worry about.

MAJOR EVANS
There are so many things to worry about. Hope he’s not pissed off.

CAPTAIN OBONG
So far, he’s proven loyal by submitting himself unto death.

MAJOR EVANS
Only to realize that we can’t kill him.

CAPTAIN OBONG
I’ll speak to him.

MAJOR EVANS
He reads minds, I’m afraid he’ll know our plans to put him on our side.

CAPTAIN OBONG
He’s not our enemy. That’s what he told me.

MAJOR EVANS
(nods)
Great!

CAPTAIN OBONG
Yeah.

MAJOR EVANS
But there is one problem.

CAPTAIN OBONG
What is it?

MAJOR EVANS
Nigeria will face sanctions if we’re unable to kill him.

CAPTAIN OBONG
We could just tell the media and the international community that he’s dead.

MAJOR EVANS
I hope that was easy, but many eyes have already seen what has happened here. There’s no way we can lie.

CAPTAIN OBONG
We have to figure out a way.

MAJOR EVANS
Tell me you have a better plan.

CAPTAIN OBONG
I have a better plan but I need time to think.

MAJOR EVANS
You have until morning, Captain.

{FOREST, KADUNA – NIGHT}

There are many armed men dressed in red uniform; wearing a necklace having the skeletal head of a snake each.

SALIM ABDUL is kneeling before the Priestess.

PRIESTESS
Salim Abdul, I empower you to destroy all humans that do not believe in your faith. The lord has caused Lagos. That’s your next target, point all the suicide bombers there. With this amulet on your neck, no harm from men shall come to you.
(pours black dust on the necklace having the skull of a snake around Salim’s neck)
Go! Go!! Go and fulfil the will of God; Abyzou.

SALIM
I am the humble servant of the lord.

PRIESTESS
Still pretend to be a member of Islam, so that the government of this country won’t attack you like mere criminals.

SALIM
Yes, Priestess.

{EXT. MILITARY PREMISES, LAGOS – DAY}

Leela is covered by many car tyres.

There is a furnace burning in front of Leela.

Suddenly, a bomb blast lifts Leela into the burning furnace.

MAJOR EVANS
(loudly)
The alien being is dead now. There is no need to be afraid of what is not there anymore!

{INT. SAFE HOUSE – NIGHT}

CAPTAIN OBONG
(sitting on a table, facing Leela who squats on the floor)
Why didn’t you resist when you knew that we were trying to kill you?

LEELA
Something in me didn’t let me.

CAPTAIN OBONG
Something like what.

LEELA
I don’t know. I just wasn’t moved.

CAPTAIN OBONG
Okay, can you tell me what I’m thinking about, right now?

LEELA
Yeah, but it’s not right to do so. I don’t do it on purpose.

CAPTAIN OBONG
Come on, you did it earlier on. What’s wrong about it now?

LEELA
You need to express yourself. You have the right to. If I take it away, then free-will law is breached unless in some cases where necessary.

CAPTAIN OBONG
Free-will?

LEELA
Yeah.

CAPTAIN OBONG
Whose law do you follow?

LEELA
Believe me, I don’t know. Not yet, maybe it’s not the right time.

CAPTAIN OBONG
We tried to kill you because INTERPOL somehow got the information that you were still alive.

LEELA
It’s the Doctor.

CAPTAIN OBONG
Yeah. He attempted to report your situation to the media as well.

LEELA
He’s certain that I’m still alive.

CAPTAIN OBONG
For now, you’re a ghost. I am your friend, okay?

LEELA
Okay, Captain.

CAPTAIN OBONG
You’re going to help in solving some cases. There is an Islamist terrorist group called Brama. The report reaches to us that they are heavily armed than before.

LEELA
They’re looking for me.

CAPTAIN OBONG
No, they’re terrorists and they do what they’re told to do.
(a worrying look appears on his face)
But how did you know they planned to attack you?

LEELA
I don’t know,

CAPTAIN OBONG & LEELA
(in unison)
I just know.

LEELA
Yeah.

CAPTAIN OBONG
Do you still have your human senses?

LEELA
I am Leela, nothing has changed.

CAPTAIN OBONG
Aren’t you hungry yet?

LEELA
No.

CAPTAIN OBONG
Nothing has changed.
(nods)
Did someone feed you behind my back or something?

LEELA
No.

CAPTAIN OBONG
That’s right. I don’t have any betrayer on my team.

LEELA
I don’t know but I’m feeling itchy on my back.

CAPTAIN OBONG
(smiles)
I know what it is.

LEELA
What is it?

CAPTAIN OBONG
Can we take a walk?
