Chairman’s Remarks. Relating to the circumstances of the coming of the new Minister.
Spiritual and Scriptural Address. Embracing the responsibilities of the Church and the incoming Minister Speaker (a Superintendent Minister) to be specially appointed and prepared.
Welcome. Very brief messages of welcome from two or three officers of the Church; one from the local Assembly, one representing the District, and one (if present) from the Minister’s late Assembly. If the Minister is married, a welcome also to be given to his wife by a representative of the Women’s Movement.
Reply. Incoming Minister to respond appropriately with a Scriptural message. Minister’s wife to respond briefly.
Induction. Those responsible will now ask the Minister and his wife to kneel in the presence of the congregation while prayer is made that they may be spiritually blessed and strengthened for their new sphere of activity, Hands may,be laid upon them during this prayer, if desired. The induction should be carried out on the floor level of the Assembly Hall.
