Location of Industry

The location of industry refers to the decision on where to site industries at the time of their establishment. It can also be defined as the siting of an industry in a particular place.

Before a producer takes a decision on where to site a particular industry, he has to consider his costs for his finished products, cost of fuel or power, raw materials, labour and transportation, After he has considered all the locational factors and weighed them against his benefits, he then decides to build in a particular place.
