“And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven among men wherein we must be saved?” Acts 4:12.
The word salvation refers to our being saved. Something very precious that no amount of money can buy it, and can never be awarded by any person or group of persons.
THERE IS SALVATION IN CHRIST JESUS
a. It is certain because the Bible says so.
b. It is certain because experience proves it.
1. Jesus Christ saves from the guilt of sin
2. Jesus Christ saves from the power of sin
3. Jesus Christ saves from the future penalty of sin
c. This salvation is for all who will accept it. Acts 10:43.
THERE IS NO SALVATION OUT OF CHRIST
a. This is plain from scripture. II Thess.1:7-9.
b. Where is the man who has found salvation out of Christ
c. How great is the folly of those who ask us to give up Christianity because of difficulties of one kind or another
TO BE LOST, ALL THAT IS NECESSARY IS SIMPLY TO NEGLECT THIS SALVATION THAT JESUS CHRIST BRINGS
a. To be lost, one does not need to commit any grave offences against morally.
b. To be lost, no outspoken rebellion against God is necessary.
c. To be lost never call for public declaration to reject Jesus but neglect.
Conclusion: Let no one deceive anybody, there is no false claim of any name under heaven among any tribe on earth that can save except the Lord Jesus Christ.
