The Meaning of Witness Band and/or Movement

Witness is a person who was from the beginning, and is able to speak on what he has seen and has knowledge of. (Jn. 1:1-5). However, in the context of Witness Movement, each letter has been interpreted thus:

WITNESS

W – Willing to do God’s will (Isa. 1:19, John 7:17)

I – Interesting (Acts 8:6-8, 2nd Tim. 4:5-8)

T – Teachable (Acts 9:6, 18:24-28)

N – Never disobedient (Acts 5:29, Num. 23:26)

E – Endurance (2nd Tim. 1:12, 2:10, Rom. 8:18, 2nd Cor. 4:16-18)

S – Serviceable (Acts 18:19, 1:8, 2:40, 41, Rom. 1:7)

S – Saintly (1st Tim. 6:11)

BAND

B – Bear ye one another’s burden (Gal. 6:2)

A – Avoid (1st Tim. 6:20, 2nd Tim. 2:16-23, James 1:26)

N – Narrow (Matt. 7:14)

D – Differ (2nd Cor. 6:14-18, 1st Cor. 5:9-11)

MOVEMENT

M – Ministry (2nd Tim. 4:1-15)

O – Opportunity (Eph. 5:15, 2nd Cor. 4:1-6)

V – Voice (Prov. 1:20, 1st Tim. 6:17-19)

E – Eat (Rom. 14:20-21, 1st Cor. 8:7-13, 10:28-32)

M – Meekness (Titus 3:2)

E – Everlasting (John 3:16)

N – Name of Jesus (Mk. 16,17, Jn. 14:13-14)

T – Time of Need (Heb. 4:16, Rev. 1:3, 10:6)

The Witness Band/Movement Motive

As Witness of our Lord Jesus Christ we ought to have a thorough knowledge of Salvation, of how we are saved so that we can witness to any person at anywhere. (Mk. 16:15-16, 1st Cor. 1:18, Eph. 2:8).
