What the Meaning of Salvation Include, and God’s Term for Salvation

Salvation is a great inclusive word in the gospel gathering into itself all Redemption Act and possessed all the idea of deliverance and safety for the spirit, soul and body. 1st Cor. 1:18.

They are:

1. REGENRATION: Imparting a new nature through the second Birth (Titus 3:5)

2. JUSTIFICATION: Changing the sinner’s status from condemnation to justification (Rom. 5:1)

3. SANCTIFICATION: Being set apart to God and living Holy like Christ (1st Thess. 4:3)

4. PROPITIATION: Averting God’s wrath by satisfying the demand for His holiness (1st John 4:10)

5. SUBSTITUTION: Dying in the place of another, the just for the unjust (1st Pet. 3:18)

6. RECONCILIATION: Changing a relationship from the enmity to friendship (2nd Cor. 5:18)

7. REDEMPTION: Paying the price for deliverance from the penalty, power and presence of sin (Rom. 3:23-24)

8. IMPUTATION: Being given Christ righteousness in exchange of our sins (Rom. 4:6-8)

9. ADOPTION: Being placed in God’s family (Gal. 4:4-5)

10. GLORIFICATION: Ultimate perfection (Rom. 8:30)
