When Working With a Team as a Cook/Chef

When working in a kitchen or hospitality industries; you must be working as part of the team even though you are the owner of the business. This includes completing the tasks on your own as part of the wider team.

Your team may include:
The Manager
Supervisor
Head chef
Director, etc.

Note: All these people working as part of the team will make people feel valued for each other.

Basic Qualities of a Team Member
a. Being reliable (in character)
b. Being dependable always
c. Punctuality (Do not accept what you can’t deliver at a given time/duration)
d. Good communication (pattern your speech in a respectable manner)
e. Listening attentively to instructions and making corrections where necessary.
f. Completing your work on time.
